Sorry – not for me I feel the colour version has more depth to the image and a greater emotional appeal.
The textures in the ruined walls are lovely so maybe for this idea to work you need to crop in much closer so that the background becomes an insignificant backdrop rather than part of the scene ….

Yes, I think you are right Noeline. I think the crop is ok but it’s hard to get past the flat lighting on the castle itself. Thanks for your comment!
