Ancient Land
Well I decided to bite the bullet and purchased a version of PTgui stiching software, can’t believe I didn’t do it earlier!
Very user friendly and does a great job, no more weird skies or ghosting.
I can see why every body stiches images, now i need to start looking at things a bit differently but that’s not such a bad thing.
The viewpoint of this image could have been more to the left but I didn’t have any choice unfortunately.
This landscape really is a land that time forgot!
Hi there!!
Mark here from the True North. It looks like you have just done the Kimberley! Did you do it recently and if so did you do it on True North?
PT Gui is a very cool program for sure.
Look at getting CS4 to compliment Lightroom 2. I use lightroom and it is good, but you can do a lot in Photoshop that you cannot in lightroom.
Nice images on the site by the way!
Cheers,
Mark

Hi Mark,
I spent a couple of months as skipper of ‘Discovery One’ earlier this year, I do the occasional guest appearence for them.
problem was that I missed a lot of shore excursions as someone needed to stay with the boat so i missed some good things like Ruby Falls etc which was a bit of a bummer. Next time!
You have some nice shots yourself and I am sure Christian will give us both a complex after you let him loose up there.
hope we cross paths over there sometime.
cheers,
Tim

G’day Mark,
Have just been looking at some of your aerial shots of Montgomery Reef, awesome! looks much different from the air than sea level. We were in the “river” on dusk one arvo and I remember thinking how cool it would look from the air.
Hope you and Christian go sick up there!
